Thanksgiving Communion Dinner

November 20, 2011

It is the time of year when we traditionally reflect on being thankful. In looking back on God’s providence towards our church, it truly is a season of thanksgiving.  God has blessed our congregation in many ways: sending out our first missionary family, active participation by many in the congregation in ministry and faithful giving allowing the church to make much needed improvements.

But our best blessing certainly has to be the godly shepherding by Pastor Bryan and Jared.  Between the sound Bible teaching offered by Bryan every week and the wonderful worship led by Jared, we are able to celebrate God’s love for us.

On Sunday November 20 at 5:00 p.m., we will be celebrating our Thanksgiving Communion Dinner. At that time we would also like to celebrate Pastor Appreciation.

Starting this week, there will two boxes in the lobby, one for Bryan and one for Jared. Note cards will be available for you to send a message of thanks and appreciation. If you wish to make a love offering, simply use an offering envelope and mark it Pastor Appreciation. Remember these are direct gifts and are not tax deductible.

So set the evening of November 20 aside and come celebrate Thanksgiving Communion and Pastor Appreciation with us.

Pizza will be served for dinner. Yes, it’s a little strange, but you’ll probably be eating turkey later in the week and this way no one has to cook!
