What is Vacation Bible School?
VBS is a week-long (June 18-22), half-day (9 a.m. to noon), summer camp at Calvary Bible Church East designed to teach kids about the Bible.

Kids like the Bible stories, songs, games, and prizes that all make for a fun day camp experience with friends.
What do parents like about VBS?
Parents like breaking up their kids’ summer boredom with a fun learning experience that teaches them important lessons about the life of faith that they may not hear anywhere else. Click here to see an overview of our curriculum for this summer.
Who is running VBS?
Vacation Bible School is staffed by volunteers from Calvary Bible Church East who have completed a background check and by Paul Spotts, a full-time children’s Bible teacher who leads popular Release Time Bible Classes for hundreds of elementary school aged children from Comstock schools and several other area school districts.
What does VBS cost?
Calvary Bible Church East covers all costs associated with VBS so that all kids may attend free of charge.
How do I sign my child up?
Our online registration is now closed, but you can register your child in person between 8:45 a.m. and 9 a.m. when you drop your child off for Vacation Bible School. Newcomers are welcome each day!
