When God saved Noah and his family, he selected the rainbow as a symbol of his gracious covenant with all future generations (Genesis 9:8-17). At Calvary East, we use vibrant color throughout our children’s area as a reminder of God’s saving grace.
Our Children’s Ministry exists to help parents acquaint their children, “with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus” (2 Timothy 3:15). We aim to: (1) provide a safe, fun, caring environment for children so that parents can engage in the worship and fellowship of the church without distraction; and (2) prepare children for a life-long enjoyment of church life by providing age-appropriate experiences of worship, fellowship, service, and outreach
Each Sunday morning at 9 a.m. we offer nursery care and Bible study groups for preschool through fifth graders. Then at 10:30 a.m. children can participate in our worship service with their parents or in our nursery.
We also hold special events throughout the year, like our Summer Vacation Bible School.
