Released time bible class in Kalamazoo Michigan.

What Is Released Time Bible Class?

Released Time Bible Class is a unique way to expose your children to the Scriptures and help them grow in their knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ!

Michigan law requires public schools to release children who have written parental permission to attend religious instruction classes at a nearby location. Children are transported by bus to and from the location. The classes meet once per month and typically last an hour to an hour and a half. Calvary Bible Church East is the host site for a class for Comstock Elementary School.

Released Time:

Classes are conducted by RBM Ministries, a Christian organization that focuses on teaching foundational truths of the Bible in a nondenominational format. The Bible story is the “heart” of the program. The stories are chosen from the Bible, with concern for the needs and understanding of the children. Paul Spotts teaches the classes for Comstock Elementary.

Bible:

Every class will provide important age appropriate spiritual and character-building instruction for your child in an enjoyable learning environment. The presentation is true to life and faithful to Scripture. As time allows, songs and quizzes are part of the program. A take-home paper climaxes the thrust of each month’s lesson. Children are also given a Bible verse to memorize and apply to their lives.
