Children’s Ministry

Children's Ministry in Kalamazoo Michigan at Calvary Bible Church East

When God saved Noah and his family, he selected the rainbow as a symbol of his gracious covenant with all future generations (Gen 9:8-17). At Calvary East, we use vibrant color throughout our children’s area as a reminder of God’s saving grace.

Sunday Morning

Children's Ministry Times and Opportunities for families

10:30 A.M.

Each Sunday morning during our 10:30 a.m. worship service we offer nursery care for children 3 and under. We also have a nursing mom's room with video of the worship service.

Older children can attend our Kids Worship program which is going through The Biggest Story or participate in our worship service with their parents. Kids Note sheets are available to help children follow along during the sermon. If they turn in completed note sheets from four worship services, they can receive a prize.

9:00 A.M.

Bible study groups for children meet at 9 a.m. We also hold special events throughout the year, like our Summer Vacation Bible School.

Our Children’s Ministry exists to help parents acquaint their children, “with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus” (2 Timothy 3:15). We aim to:

1. Provide a safe, fun, caring environment for children so that parents can engage in the worship and fellowship of the church without distraction

2. Prepare children for a life-long enjoyment of church life by providing age-appropriate experiences of worship, fellowship, service, and outreach
