Good Friday Communion Service
Join us as we gather to remember Christ’s death and give thanks.
For I received from the Lord what I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, "This is my body, which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me." In the same way also he took the cup, after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me." For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes (1 Corinthians 11:23-26 ESV).

Easter Sunday Brunch
Join us for brunch before our Easter worship service.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead (1 Peter 1:3 ESV).

2025 Bible Conference
The end of January 2025 will mark eighteen years since the launch of Calvary Bible Church East. As our name indicates, we have built our ministry upon verse-by-verse Bible teaching. To continue this focus, we are planning a one-day Bible conference on Sunday, January 26, that will begin at 10:30 a.m. and will continue through mid-afternoon with lunch and dessert breaks.
Our plan is to teach straight through all five chapters of the New Testament Epistle of James. I have invited eleven men to join me, and we have been meeting together once a month since September to prepare. Some of them have significant experience in teaching. Others are just beginning. Each has been assigned a passage from James and will have fifteen minutes to deliver a mini-sermon on it.
So, I encourage you to pray for us as we continue our preparations. Then join us on the 26th to learn from God’s Word, to enjoy fellowship, and to encourage these men as they test and sharpen their spiritual gifts.
