Current Group Study

You’re a theologian! You may not think of yourself that way, but you have ideas about who God is and how he works. But if we want to be biblical theologians, we need to make sure that our beliefs align with the Scriptures.

Many people use creeds, confessions, or statements of faith to study theology. These summaries can be helpful, but they are often misused. Some treat them as an authoritative guide for interpreting the Bible when it should be the other way around. We must start with Scripture!

I searched for a series of study guides to help us in this process, but I could not find one. So, I decided to write one myself. This study is called β€œThe King of Glory: The Doctrine of God in the Psalms and the Prophets.”

Consider joining us in our fellowship room on Sundays at 9 a.m. in July and August (groups will not meet July 5 or Aug 2). We’ll pray together and then split up into separate groups for men, women, and teens. We will have copies of our study guide on hand or click below for a PDF copy.
