Current Group Study

You’re a theologian! You may not think of yourself that way, but you have ideas about who God is and how he works. But if we want our theology to be correct, we need to make sure that our beliefs align with the Scriptures.

Many people use creeds, confessions, or statements of faith to study theology. These summaries are helpful, but they are often misused. Some treat them as an authoritative guide for interpreting the Bible, when it should be the other way around. We must start with Scripture!

I searched for a series of study guides to help us build our theological understanding by starting with Scripture, but I could not find one. So, I decided to write one myself, and it has turned into a series. Our current study is called “Our Father in Heaven: Jesus and the Doctrine of God.”

Consider joining us in our fellowship room on Sundays at 9 a.m. We’ll pray together and then split up into separate groups for men, women, and teens. We will have copies of our study guide on hand or click below for a PDF copy.
